Frequently Asked Questions

At B. Ella Bridal we recommend coming with nude undergarments on and your hair and makeup how you feel most comfortable and confident. For some, that's no makeup, and for others that will be a full face. Our goal is for you to feel your best! Please refrain from wearing lipstick to your appointment. It can stain the dresses. 

At our boutique, we give you the option of being changed by your stylist or being in the fitting room by yourself, but please note that not all of the dresses will fit perfectly. Your stylist will need to help clip you into the gowns and will most likely see your undergarments. 

We also recommend that you bring a hair tie or hair clip. Some styles will be best with your hair up and some with your hair down.

Trying on dresses can be hard work! Some fun things for your MOH or MOB to have in their bag are body spray and deodorant. 

Otherwise, come with an open mind and expect to have fun! 

We have a large range of prices and a huge inventory at B. Ella Bridal, ranging from $800-$5,000. The majority of our inventory will be between $1500-$3000.

We also have sample bridal gowns on sale in our back room. Prices start around $600 - $3,000.

If you plan on ordering a dress, please count on the following timelines:

Bridal Gowns: 3-9 months. This time frame ranges on the designer and style of your gown.

Mother of the Bride/Groom: 2 Weeks - 6 months. Some dresses are in stock and can be brought in quickly, but most orders can take as along a bridal gown! Don't wait to shop so your options aren't limited.

Bridesmaids: 4-6 months. Rushes are available with some designers. 

PLEASE NOTE: We will always sell samples off-the-rack for Bridal, MOB/MOG and Bridesmaids if you are in a time crunch. 

We book up very quickly, so we recommend calling early to get on our schedule without a rush fee. 

For bridal gowns, please call to make your appointment 5-6 months prior to your wedding date. We will schedule your first appointment 3-4 months prior to your wedding and see you 3-4 times within that time frame. We book quickly, so please call with your schedule as soon as possible.

For Mother of the Bride/Groom or Bridesmaids, please call 4 months prior to the wedding to get scheduled. 

Please bring the following to your alteration appointment:

- Undergarments you plan on wearing with the dress

- The exact shoes you plan on wearing with the dress. **No shoes = no hem**

- Ability to pay for your alteration ticket. Payment needs to be made before the dress is worked on.

For bridal gown alterations we recommend setting aside $500 for alterations. The ticket could be less or more depending on your gown, how it fits and your time frame, but that it a good amount to budget for. Most bridal gowns take an average of 35 hours to complete - 2-3 hours of fittings and around 30+ hours of deconstruction and sewing.

For Mother of the Bride/Groom we recommend to budget around $250, and for bridesmaids we suggest to budget around $150. The price could be more or less depending on difficulty, fit and time. 

Rush fees will be added to your alteration ticket for any dress that needs to be completed within 4-weeks or less.
